Drainage & Roading NZ Ltd was established February 2006 (previously Kerb & Channel NZ Ltd) in the Queenstown Southern Lakes area.

We have expanded the company to include Wanaka in 2007 & Christchurch in  2010 which is our head office for all operations within the group, which include NZ Traffic Management Ltd.

The Manager is Colin Sloss. The Queenstown operations Manager is Jimmy Martin. Kate Sloss is the Accounts Manager & is responsible for administration & manages the workplace Health & Safety Policies.

Colin and Kate Sloss previously owned Local Construction Ltd, one of the largest privately owned contracting firms in Canterbury.  Local Construction was the winner of 12 ‘Contractor of the Year’ awards including one New Zealand award and the Canterbury supreme award in 2003.  Colin & Kate successfully owned and operated Local Construction until the company sold to City Care in October 2004, at this time there was a team of 95 staff.

Project Management & Subcontractors

To complement our existing products and services offered to clients, Drainage & Roading NZ Ltd co-ordinate and oversee the work of various subcontractors. 

Our subcontractors are required to meet the company’s high standard of workmanship, health and safety, and quality assurance. These matters are co-ordinated by the company’s Divisional Managers who ensures the work meets the specification and meet our quality constraints for a Drainage & Roading NZ Ltd project.
